Summit FAQs
Who can attend the summit?
The summit is designed for advocates and professionals in the anti-trafficking or related field. Participants include victim service providers, survivor leaders, government officials, legal professionals, academia, law enforcement, representatives from community groups, faith and tribal communities, and more. Attendance is open nationwide, though targeted to the RIC’s member jurisdictions including Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Due to the nature of the content, all attendees must be 18 years or older to participate in the summit.

How much is registration?
Registration is $225 for in-person and $112.50 for virtual attendance.
Is there a virtual attendance option?
Yes, there is a limited virtual attendance option for the summit. Individuals who participate virtually will be able to attend all plenary sessions, including the keynote address, panel sessions, and opening/closing remarks. The breakout sessions will not be available for viewing virtually.
Do you offer a group registration discount?
Yes, we offer a 15% discount for group registration of five (5) or more people from an organization.
Do you offer a discount for human trafficking survivors?
Yes, if you are a human trafficking survivor, please reach out to kayla@disrupttrafficking.org for a complimentary registration code.
Do you offer financial support for anyone with limited financial resources?
We do not want finances to be a barrier to attending the summit. If you or your organization has limited financial resources for professional development/events, please reach out to kayla@disrupttrafficking.org for special pricing.
What meals are included with the registration?
Meals included in registration are breakfast and lunch of Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2. A welcome reception with beer/wine and hors d’oeuvres on the evening of Day 1 is also included.
What if I have special dietary needs?
After registering, please reach out to kayla@disrupttrafficking.org to indicate any special dietary needs or allergies. The hotel will be advised of these requests. Most meals will offer options for the most common requests, such as gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian. Meals that require special preparation (such as kosher or vegan) must be requested in advance.
IMPORTANT: Conference meals are prepared in a commercial kitchen which is NOT allergen-free. If you have a life-threatening allergy, please prepare accordingly and have any necessary medications with you.
How do I earn continuing education credits?
There may be an option to receive continuing education credits for the summit. Please see the summit main page for updates.
How do I purchase an exhibitor tabletop exhibit?
Yes, if your organization would like to have an exhibitor table, please select the exhibitor table option during online registration. The cost of an exhibitor table is $100. If you would like to attend event sessions, please also purchase a registration ticket. If you have multiple people attending from your organization, only one person needs to select the exhibitor option.

How do I reserve a hotel room?
You can book a hotel room at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel for the summit here or by clicking on the “BOOK HOTEL” button on the Summit main webpage. The special booking rate of $149/night will be available until February 18, 2025.
Will session presentations or materials be available after the conference?
Session presentations, if released by the speaker, will be available to registered attendees following the summit. Registered attendees will receive more information when they become available.
Will there be internet access?
Yes, complimentary internet access will be available in all meeting rooms.
Will there be free parking?
Yes, complimentary parking will be available to all attendees. Your parking ticket can be validated at the registration table at the summit.
If I have to cancel, can I get a refund for registration?
A full refund (100%) for registration is available until February 14, 2025. A partial refund (50%) for registration is available between February 14-February 23, 2025. To request a refund, you must contact kayla@disrupttrafficking.org and provide your full name and ticket order number. All refunds will be paid directly to the payment method used to purchase the original registration.
No registration refunds will be given on or after February 24, 2025.
To modify, cancel, or request a refund for room reservations from the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel, you must contact the hotel directly.
Can I attend just one day of the convening?
We highly encourage all participants to attend both days of the convening. Registration cost is the same and is not discounted or refundable if you only attend one day of the two-day event.
